Sit, my friends, and listen to the voices of the drowned

I HAD SO MUCH FUN ON THE RADIO.

You can watch me on Facebook. (You can hear me in the WBAI archives. We start at the one-hour mark.) [personal profile] spatch tells the story of the first Byfar Hour. Jim Freund has opinions about Blade Runner. I read three stories and talk about slime mold. It is a good time.

It made my day, which is a mitzvah on your part, since my day is primed to involve two holiday meetings and a raking over coals (I think not deserved, but it won't be, like, a shellacking). EDIT: It was a shellacking and I watched more of you reading. It was good to see you.

Also.

You two.

Are adorable.

The most useful sounds that have come out of my yap all day have commenced with "Fffffffffffff."

I am very much looking forward to going home and writing.

And I hadn't gotten to see you in your habitat in years and years, you matched pair of affectionate dorks. It's so great.

Sweet! I will listen some time when I'm not at work...

Please do not take this the wrong way, but I find you a very aesthetically pleasing human and very much enjoy looking at your face. Watched the whole thing, and enjoyed listening to you talk about interesting things and read your stories as well.

Since someone else said it, I will say I have always admired it very much myself, and it is not a modern face, which is one small reason why Tiny Wittgenstein is about to take a ROMANCE NOVEL TO THE KNEE.

I hope it is a romance novel of substantial size and heft, not some fiddling little Harlequin or the like.

Well, the last one in trade paperback was a good size for T. Witt-clobbering, and this one promises to be longer.

I've got this playing now. It's a joy to watch and hear (this might be the first time I've heard you talk); you both look so comfortable and happy.

Also, I finished "Sleepless Shores" and I *love love love* it. Could I send you an e-mail over the next few days? Easier than an epic comment and gives me time to orchestrate my gush! Also, thank you so so much for dedicating "The Face of the Waters" to me. You might have heard a delighted yawp over in Boston. (And I've been meaning to tell you for ages that the Flapper has a stay of execution; it's open till next summer.)

And the title of this song so brings "The Creeping Influences" to my mind:

*I am trying this sales-gaming thing.*

I'd be very happy to post a review on Goodreads! Give me a few days; I want to do this justice.

*I am very happy to hear it's not going anywhere yet!*

We'll just mount it on wheels and roll it down the towpath if the developers do come!

*That is a wonderful title, and I like the song, too!*

Great, isn't it? I'll have to invest in the album!

*happy hugs*
