Also I am super glad I missed the era of craft-beer-fueled ANYTHING.
It was especially counterintuitive during the opening act. We could not imagine that the craft beer was so amazing that a good half of the audience had an excuse for schmoozing and drinking over at the tent instead of listening to Benjamin Clementine, who was great. You can tell my formative exposure to singer-songwriters at pianos by the fact that I told rushthatspeaks sincerely that some of his songs reminded me of Tori Amos.
