I should have no vested interest in the city your friends live in, but yeah: as long as I've been on social media, reading you, they've lived there, and now they're moving, and I have second-degree melancholy because of the change.

I am holding on to change rather than disappearance, but it is and will be different and I am sorry it ripples out.
