I'm glad Johnny finds his happy ending (with a little deserved ass-kicking). He has a nice face.

I like Hume Cronyn very much. He's one of the few actors I could track as far back as high school, I think from having seen him in People Will Talk (1951); he had a stage career I know much less about, but he was almost never a protagonist onscreen. He really should have been. I feel this way about a lot of people.

I'll see if I can track the film down.
