I try to hang onto the hope that we can all teach and argue our way to a better world where everyone sees each other's shared humanity first. But even that is a hard battle some days.
These last couple of years have really given it a beating. I've been working on spite as a motivation for survival; it is obviously not a long-term solution, but I think it got me through a lot of last year. I want to see these people gone.
