The trailer is rather extensive (as trailers seem to be, these days), but it doesn't really capture the charm of the film or how political it is.

I missed the trailer completely: I went to see the film with rushthatspeaks on the strength of del Toro's interviews and internet gifsets. It sounds like I dodged a bullet. (I don't tend to enjoy trailers.)

[edit] It appears I did see the trailer last summer and it had the intended effect. I just remembered absolutely nothing of it by the time the movie itself came around. I guess that's the best-case scenario.
