Inherit the Wind must've been one of the first movies I saw him in, but I am certain I didn't realize back then that he was the same guy who starred in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That earlier film shows what a range he had even as a young actor; as Jekyll, he's the sexy leading man he often played, but he vanishes completely into Hyde, and the makeup job is really the least of it.
