Gone full circle when things went square
Happy autumn! Happy Bi Visibility Day! Happy centenary of the invention of Fluff, which explains why the first thing I ate today was a peanut butter and marshmallow fluff cookie: I spent the later part of my afternoon in Union Square with
rushthatspeaks,
gaudior, and Fox, who may or may not have liked their first taste of marshmallow but was really into a crunchy organic juice blend one of their parents was trying to drink. (Eventually they covered themselves in it. It was green. That's the first time I've seen a baby cosplay Howl's Moving Castle.) I am delighted to learn that plasmodial slime molds can share memories. I would definitely watch Dwayne Johnson as Plato. I am faceplantingly tired, but I have cats. It has not been terrible, being awake today.

Your Fluff and peanut butter,
and be glad you have enough
for ANOTHER FLUFFERNUTTER!
Please, please describe any and all of the events? I can imagine a Fluff Lick-Off although I am sure it was G-rated, but Fluff Jousting? What???

Here it is
My mom wouldn't buy Fluff. It was "nothing but pure sugar." (That's the point, Mom!)

"DESPAAAAAAIIIRRR!!!"
(Which has been a Kestrell-and-Alexx catchphrase since I read her HMC. We have also gotten much use out of the term "slitherer-outer" (or is it "outerer"?).)

Slitherer-outer. ("Of course you hate getting angry! . . . You don't like anything unpleasant, do you? You're a slitherer-outer, that's what you are! You slither away from anything you don't like!") It is a word in my family's household as well. It's very useful.

I don't believe so; it would have been blackmail material. They will undoubtedly cover themselves with something else dramatic sometime you're around, though. It's what babies do.

I assumed from the first that this was something like the thing with Caenorhabditis elegans, but could not escape the image of "DogVomit657 shared a memory on Facebook"...
