It was on my list, definitely, but I think I forgot it for a while.

Brick is a send up of the film noir genre, ostensibly set in a California high school. It's probably too clever in a lot of ways, but it does a sorely missed (by me, anyway) genre justice. The language is excellent, the feel was spot on.
