I loved this movie when I was a teen. I had SUCH a crush on both Evie and Ardeth. "I... am... A Librarian!" Unfortunately while there were lots of things to fulfill my Rachel Weisz infatuation, Oded Fehr wasn't in much that was watchable, at least not around then. (His character was supposed to die, but everyone liked him so much that they just kept him around.) ETA: Not in much that looks watchable since, either. Waste.

A lot of the effects probably aged better than some from around then because they didn't have a lot of money and tended to do a lot of practical stuff. (Partly because Vosloo had worked in pulps so long that he knew ALL the zero dollar shortcuts.)
