I agree that someone like James Whale would have made Dracula's Daughter a much more dynamic film. I'm still very fond of it--probably partly because I first saw it when I was around ten years old, but also because of the queer content and Gloria Holden's performance.

That is hilarious. I'd forgotten just how many billowy drapes there were in The Hunger. Now I want to watch that film again.

I've put Nadja at the top of my Netflix queue!
