The Gor graphic novel was to be based on Dancer of Gor, a particularly awful book of the series. Several pages were drawn, but the expected rush of online subscribers never materialized. I'm guessing it was because the "Gorean Men" shown in the drawings that were put online as advertising all looked like psychotic cannibal stalkers, and even the fans were turned off. The character in Jonquil's icon is supposed to be the hero of the book.

And yes, I am ashamed to say I know this... Clearly I need to eat more pie.
