I recently saw Corridor of Mirrors, and quite liked it (Kestrell less so). It is decidedly Gothic, with Portman's character just as strangely and ambiguously past-obsessed as Colpeper, though in very different flavoring. Also covers some of the same territory that Vertigo will a decade later. (And as a tiny bit of lagniappe, has baby Christopher Lee in a minor role!)
