Under the song so long time gone
I leave for Lunacon in the morning. It is my fervent hope that I'll have the time on the trains to finish the Patreon post I have been writing in snatches since late Monday night, when I started to note something about Leslie Howard and got walloped by critical analysis. I haven't had much time between work and other commitments. I haven't had much sleep, either. So it goes. Not crossposting to LJ feels weird. Otherwise I am not sure so much has changed.

I'm having a hard time getting used to (a) having to store any photos I want to share elsewhere, since I can't put them directly on Dreamwidth and (b) the limited number of icons. I have 80+ at LJ, and while I don't use all of them regularly, I *do* use more than 15 regularly.

Thank you! It was very low-key for me, but I think that was actually a plus.

I'd been doing it since 2013. I miss it feeling correct and safe.

Thank you! I was worried going in, but it was really fun.

You should be able to store photos at Dreamwidth (if that link doesn't work, "Upload Images" is in the drop-down menu from "Create"), but I don't know what to recommend about the icons unless you have a paid account, in which case I believe you get a hundred.

Thanks for the tip on the photo storage!
