That's an interesting decision. I think of Unitarian Universalism as much more in the direction of Christianity than anything else, given its origins, although I know many modern Unitarians (including one of my cousins) who don't.
though I *now* joke that I am a "lapsed Unitarian".
Does that mean that you define yourself by some other religious tradition or by none? (The latter is entirely reasonable; I just can't tell from your phrasing.)
