Funny enough, I've just seen St Denis' burial place. The suposed grave is now empty, as his body was moved to be at the alter of the Basillica (sp?) St Denis, but is still surrounded by the graves of early French Christians who wanted to be buried near the martyr. They've excavated the grave yard, and you can see the ancient stone coffins, some on top of one another.
