Not quite Hannibal-grade. One of the killers has bad facial eczema, which produces a tamped-down rage that draws the other killer to her; the sheer enthusiasm with which they both deconstruct people is horrifying in a very haphazard, true crime way, with no loveliness to it at all. Like I said, it's got that Scanadinavian chilliness; Cass Neary is definitely the standard.
