There was so much about Neither Heaven nor Earth which appealed to me, especially the shared dream of the cave making its way through the French contingent like a virus, not to mention the role of faith in the narrative. I got halfway through that there wasn't likely to be a "resolution" per se, but it didn't annoy me; that's hard to do.
