I love Rocketeer, I saw the original movie on the big screen, and its just a fun joy.

I did recognize in another movie, (which I cant remember) the set in Timothy Daltons lair.. the grooved walls I think.
Oh, that's cool. Yeah, it has a sort of pseudo-Egyptian Deco look, all streamlining and not actually hieroglyphs. I believed it as a very expensive apartment for a Hollywood star.
Its like watching a lot of old B&W tv and you can pick out parts of sets.. the staircases are the most oft used...
I once recognized the main set from Arsenic and Old Lace (released 1944, filmed 1941) in George Washington Slept Here (1942). I was so happy.
