I am right now stifling inappropriate laughter at "Goin' to Heaven on a Mule" but I bet if I actually had to see it I too would be sitting in silent horror.

It was gonzo racist. It started in a sharecropper's cabin on the old plantation and that wasn't good, but I did not foresee the giant slices of watermelon. Or the pork chop trees. How do you foresee the pork chop trees? It was like "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," minstrel edition. I'm not surprised the theater was stunned silent.

[livejournal.com profile] ladymondegreen points out that the flying dog was a nice effect and not racist at all and, like Bifrost, deserved a better afterlife.
