The Portsmouth Brewery has started brewing beer out of kelp.

I may have to try drinking beer.

Kelp beer is pretty decent but more like a whiskey than a beer. Tofino Brewery's one is distinctly strong in umami, so much so it's more a sipping drink than someone one can drink a pint of.

That's an incentive! Most beer tastes like soap to me. It's the hops.
