Ooh, an official bootleg sounds like just the thing for this show. I am perhaps eager to have it in hand, so I can start pushing it at people.

Oh, yeah. Also playing nonstop.

Yes, also this. I have been already doing this in a limited capacity (see annotations in e-mail). Hadestown is the sort of show with the ability to stick multiple songs in my head at once without contradicting itself. Bravo Anais Mitchell!

I'm looking forward to the anthologies!

I can vouch unconditionally for An Alphabet of Embers. I haven't yet received my copy of The Museum of All Things . . . and I'm really curious!

As am I. I will have to be acquisitive.

I hear there is a new Hades this week (according to our lady of the underground, aka Amber Gray), as the show got extended past where Patrick Page could keep doing it. I'd be curious to see it, if it wasn't for the waiting lists.

If you get any reports, please pass them along. I think of him as such an integral part of the show, but then again the Hermes I saw was a replacement (and I would love to know his name) and he was extraordinary.

His name was Matt Saldivar, and he was apparently in a show called Important Hats of the Twentieth Century which I now want to know more about, being the sort of hat-oriented person that I am.

Did you manage to leave your program here, or somehow not get one from the theater? If so, I have one from our show that I can pass on (I have a lot of Hadestown programs in the house at the moment, as I took our British houseguest as well).

In similar news my sister pinged me last night to say that she would like to see Hadestown again (it's her birthday) and suddenly the Saturday night show wasn't sold out. I suspect that this is birthday magic, so I will be able to give you a first-hand report of the new Hades. Oh, for a working transporter.

I hope your sleep comes back soon. I got independent corroboration today that our guest room is proof against insomnia, from our houseguest who is a fellow traveler in the land of little to no sleep.

I like the idea of your house as a sleep haven. Due to a week of early appointments and other commitments, I have not in fact managed to sleep much at all since this post, but I am about to try to peel myself off the computer and shower and see what I can do. Tomorrow there'll be a movie if I can get up for it, but there will also be packing and moving and I'd rather have at least a gesture in the direction of stamina.

Sleep haven is a much nicer name that what [livejournal.com profile] pecunium accidentally named the house, but then, I guess if our house is a mountain, then it can have a peaceful haven at its top. I hope that lack of sleep does not interfere with your enjoyment of the film.

And since there's a deeply buried lede here, I hope the move goes well, and that the reasons for it are joyous and not purely logistical.

*sending you strength*
