Two film adaptations of A Doll's House seems hard to believe (and boy, both producers must have been furious), but I guess the play was on the collective mind!

I mean, it was the 1970's, I believe that people were thinking about feminism, but I still agree it was weird!

I think there were two film retellings of Snow White last year or the year before (though that seems less hard to believe as fairy tales somehow seem less specific than a play).

Was that Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror Mirror? I remember 2006 was the year of the dueling magician movies—The Prestige and The Illusionist. I saw the first twice in theaters and the second not at all, which I guess says which side I was on.

--I love this observation. I'm going to watch the film, if I can.

Thank you! I was briefly excited when I found it on YouTube, but the runtime looks off by ten minutes, so I would probably recommend availing yourself of Netflix or a library instead.

Glad the ribs turned out this time!

They were incredibly delicious! Well worth the four hours and change.
