I watched 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' for the first time tonight as salute to Rickman, and enjoyed it. Rickman was great as Jamie - his real virtues and his flaws. I thought Juliet Stevenson was just terrific in the crying scene, and in her growing awareness that Jamie was beyond endurance. I'm convinced that the writers actually know who all the video-watching friends were - I'm pretty sure one of them was the Chevalier de Saint Georges. (But Bruno? Freddie? Pierre? Isa?)
