I looked up some EEH clips on YouTube, and came across this incredible dream/nightmare sequence from Beggars on Horseback (1924).
WHAT THE EXTRA SHIT. WHO INVITED THE INNSMOUTH MARCHING BAND. OR THOMAS THE NIGHTMARE FUEL ENGINE. HE SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT HAVE COME TO THE WEDDING. THAT WAS A TACTICAL ERROR.
I would watch the rest of that movie if it existed. Maybe someday the other four reels will be recovered and I can boggle at them contentedly.
That is now the youngest I have ever seen Edward Everett Horton, which means that he was only thirty-nine. [edit] My previous benchmark was Ask Dad (1929), an interesting but confusing experience in which he gets the girl.
