I never got to see The Invention of Love onstage, and I am perpetually sorry. (I don't feel so bad about missing Breaking the Code, as it's never been produced anywhere that I could see. Besides, I'm informed there's a filmed version.) I just had adoring descriptions relayed back to me by friends who could get into NYC more readily than I could.
