I've also never heard of Stage Fright but I really want to watch it now!
Unlike most of the movies I discover on TCM, you can get this one on DVD! I was surprised it even existed—I hadn't known Hitchcock had made any films in the UK between Jamaica Inn (1939) and Frenzy (1972), and in fact, Stage Fright is the only one. His daughter actually was studying at RADA at the time; she has a small supporting part as one of the protagonist's friends.
(I have heard of White Zombie and read multiple articles on it in college, and have wanted to see it for years.)
Did you read the multiple articles for something related to your studies or were you just in college when you found out about the film?
