I was slightly disappointed in the movie -- it was competant, but there were very few of the creative touches in the adaptation like that opening sequence: it was closer to by-the-numbers, if not to the extent of the first Harry Potter movie. Jadis, Edmund, and Lucy were a lot better than expected, I will admit.
