Oh, congratulations all around! We have a brother-sister pair of black kittens, now about one and a half, and they are an utter delight to us. Some of your preliminary descriptions sound similar to theirs -- the boy-cat came out of the carrier first and is the most affectionate cat I've ever known; his sister is quite friendly and purry now, but it really has to be on her terms. For a while we blamed all mischief on the brother, but it turns out that his sister is capable of just as much, if not more. She's just less overt about it.
