Should it bother me when it's really gone beyond what anyone expected?
My poem "Facilior" is now online at inkscrawl. That was fast. Everything I said about it here is still true.
My poem "Aristeia" is now online at Apex Magazine. I had a migraine when I wrote it in December 2011. It's about chronic pain and art. Ἀριστεία means "excellence" in classical Greek; in epic it refers to a moment of great heroism (trans. TV Tropes, "Crowning Moment of Awesome"). I couldn't write the poem I was trying to that cold Monday, but I like the one I got.
Last night was a mixed bag of nightmares, but it is a new month this morning. I am now reading submissions for Strange Horizons for the months of April and May. Send me poems! The world is full of great writing I haven't seen yet! No joke.

Thank you! I am especially pleased about "Aristeia"; it is one of very few poems I have wrested out of that kind of physical pain and I think it's the better for it.
Sorry to hear about the nightmares.
Other than the poetry news, watching Hellboy, and eating a calzone, honestly, today mostly sucked. I'm hoping tomorrow's an improvement.
I will be sending you a poem soon.
Yay!

It's not doing terribly so far.
