I'm glad for your replaced Charlie Card, and especially the balance transferred without strife.

The pork buns sound delicious. And the book sounds fascinating. I didn't get far into the first Kushiel book, and I'm not sure if it was a case of distraction, a case of Not Really My Kink But Sometimes Close Enough To Frustrate, or something else entirely, but this one I might have to track down sometime.
