So I watched Captain America based on this review - I would never ordinarily watch something with that title - and, gosh, it surprised me with its quality.

Sad to say, but it is rare when a film portrays a woman as positively as Peggy. And, oh-

My mother really objected to learning that Peggy Carter and Howard Stark were not Tony's parents, because although she wouldn't use the term, as soon as she saw Captain America she identified Steve/Peggy/Howard as an OT3 and assumed that in Steve's absence at least Peggy and Howard would have stayed together.

I refuse to believe this isn't canon.

I also agree with the suggestions in comments that Peggy becomes M.
