The author's style was severe and unemotional in the extreme, much like Robert Aickmann.

I really need to read him. Every time [livejournal.com profile] ashlyme mentions one of his stories, it sounds like something I would love. (Of course, he led off with a dryad-like lichen-haunting: let's be honest.)

Someone on one of those graymarket video duping sites probably has a copy, complete with godawful seventies wine commercials.

We could hope for a Region 2 DVD, but we'd probably have to settle for a washed-out video transfer in three parts on YouTube. It would be the sidebar link between the 1954 Nineteen Eighty-Four and The Signalman.

Big eyes; vampire eyes, I would say if I didn't like him as an actor.

Heh. He didn't look that bad in the dream, but then again it was my dream.

Only there are no answers here and no fulfillment of any kind.

And there is one of the reasons I prefer weird fiction, I believe.
