New York, New York, a visitor's place
I got up this morning at not quite stupid o'clock—maybe o'clock that should have known better—because I am spending the remainder of today in New York City with
rushthatspeaks and
derspatchel in order to see a film with fruit hats, and then the remainder of the week in New York City with
derspatchel in order to see other things. Right now I'm on a train. It has wireless internet, because so does everything these days, but I don't expect to be terribly communicative for the immediate future. I'm sort of going to be in the past anyway.

There will be a full report on the fruit hats.

If only the MetroNorth trains had got that memo. I could've done the piece I was writing during Monday before last's commute a lot more easily if I'd been able to get to a couple of online resources before reaching Grand Central.
I'm sort of going to be in the past anyway.
Enjoy!
I have to confess that I had this sudden vision of people getting postcards from you with one cent stamps on them. Or is the rate higher, even in 1943, if the postcard must go through a wormhole to reach its destination?

Heh. See following post! It was terrific.

Er . . . yes, when I come back to the city?

This was not so much a visiting trip, but I promise I will return.

Oh, hell, why I didn't mail postcards from Coney Island?

Thank you! It was great.

Fuck o'clock is a little earlier, because it involves more yelling and stumbling, but I am familiar with the principle.
