I do love Sofia's writing, and am so happy to see her loving yours (as well she should. As should THE WORLD.)

I made a rainbow cheesecake the other day. And took pictures... but work is not allowing me a minute to make any sort of post, let alone a cheesecake one. Anyway. Glad you guys devoured the recalcitrant carrot cake, and the more benign birthday cake.
