Hah! I was thirteen when I saw the play for the first time (see links in reply to csecooney above); that was my introduction. I don't think I read it until I was in college, and then I bought the first copy I saw. I cannot remember now whether it was from The Book Rack or Upper Story Books, but they were my two steady sources of secondhand books until I moved to New Haven (and one of them closed and the other relocated under management). The jacket is trying to fall to fragments, but I read it very carefully and the words are the marvelous same.
