I was asking less about her place in the story, more about her place in Sayers' mind. Is she the kind of person Sayers would like to have around? Is she another projection? All characters are some piece of an author; some are more wish-fulfillment than others. I would want to know where you think Harriet falls in that spectrum, if at all.
