Hm. For really good character work, I'll put up with a lot. (Besides, I read quickly. I doubt it would be that much sacrifice of my time.) When next I visit the library, otherwise known as tomorrow, I may look for the first book. If it doesn't work out, so be it. But if I do like the character, I will certainly let you know!
