I've already finished HBP, and I won't spoil anything for you except to say that what Snape is rather important in this book, and a lot of what he does has thrown a lot of fans of the series into a flurry of arguments for and against him.

Personally, I hate and love what happened, because Snape is made even more shades of grey, but I need to shut up now.
