I have seen two of the three Kakoyannis classical tragedies (Eléktra and Ifiyéneia, though not the Troádhes) and they are a must for someone of your interests and inclinations.
Hey, I can get them all from Netflix! I had great difficulty tracking them down in college, even on VHS.

and Wasikowska made a wonderful Jane Eyre in the last iteration (Michael Fassbender was not shabby as Rochester either).
So noted. I avoided it initially because I had seen a very excellent television adaptation with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens in 2006, and then I saw X-Men: First Class.
