This is a lovely description. I'm glad you such things and had such experiences, although I'm sorry you weren't able to get closer to the sea.

It always seems to me as if "Wagon Wheel" is done with a lot of folk harmonising, but I must confess I've never heard a recording. Didn't know you could sing tenor, although I must confess I've little enough concept of what those ranges actually mean--I think of my own voice chiefly in terms of keys and capo positions.
