Not a spinoff - the man who opened the one on Georgia Avenue sold that one to somebody else (who no longer uses his recipes), and he opened the one in Rockville. (Which was his reason for moving in the first place.) Why he wanted to move the store to Rockville, I don't know, but the rest we have not just from an article, but confirmed from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
