I've read your poem twice, slowly, and feel like I would need to read it five more times, or ten, and mean to. The editor in me is unquiet. The last two lines are truly profound, deserve to survive far beyond our time, quite possibly with all that precedes them as well. I assume the lines from Pharsalia are your translation; they are chilling and awe-inspiring, and I can only hope that you might undertake to translate all of it, though I would never seek to dissuade you from your own work.
