I'm glad for the fun, but sorry for the disastrously exhausted and in pain parts.

I'm not sure what to say with regards to Facebook. I use it, mostly because there's a surprisingly high concentration of Irish traditional musicians and Irish-speakers on it, not to mention folk I went to college with and want to keep in touch with. As long as you avoid the games and such, it's not so terrible a time sink--I would recommend purging your cookies, browser memory, etc before switching between FB and LJ, just in case.
