So fruit flower myself inside out

My poem "Persephone in Hel" is now online at Stone Telling #3. The theme is Whimsy; I think it might be their best issue yet. I love the illustrations. Make sure to check out the roundtable, with bonus poem by Jo Walton. I'd include the usual note about the poem's origins here, but they're part of the discussion.

I am failing to fight off yet another cold. Asklepios is fired.

I'm happy you prefer this illustration to the Pepto-Bismol witch :)

Seriously, thank you. It is a fabulous poem.

Ah, I wish I could get to the site from work. I guess I will have to be responsible and read later.

Did you submit that to The New Yorker? You should have.

Seriously, that is one of the best things you've ever done. Every line sings and the last two are as good and as powerful a conclusion as I can remember you penning. I'm officially starting the campaign for next year's Rhysling.

God, me too!! Been sick all weekend. What is it about these past few months? I've never sick like this before. o.O

International Restaurant and Tuba Museum??
That might be worth a road trip some time...

And sovay, did I ever actually send you the transcription of the first draft of H.D.'s "Helen"?

Congratulations! The poem, as I hope I've said before, is wonderful. And the illustration is perfect.

Sorry that Asklepios is failing to help you. My allergies are acting up right now--it's not a pleasant season of the year for such things.*

*As if there were a pleasant season of the year for congestion etc, but I digress...
