With a serpent coiled under his collar

Happy Saint Patrick's Day. I am not catching a bus to Northampton to see the National Theatre's Frankenstein with [livejournal.com profile] teenybuffalo. I am, I think, trying not to move very much. I may go outside, where it's sunny and almost springlike, and bask. I can see the swans are back on the reservoir.

Comments notification appears to be finally un-borking itself, however, so at least I can catch up on conversations I've missed. And there's always the hope of a repeat broadcast.

P.S. Caitlín has posted photographs from the last two days of editing deathmarch. I rather like the one of us on the couch. The train station, however, I really should remember not to try to talk when people are taking my picture.

You seem to have acted the veritable Virgil to her Dante, leading her through the hell of edits and ensuring she made it through to the other side sane and in one piece. Well done!

Let it percolate in the brainless skull, and when the brain returns, it will be done.

And that sounds like something from an early 17th century book of medicine...

The photos make the death march almost seem fun.

Actually I think the train station one is pretty good. Mind you, I have pleasant memories associated with you and that train station.

Happy St. Patrick's to you too! *I* will not be spending the evening in a pub. Grades are due tomorrow.

Tá brón orm nach bhfuil tú ag gabhail go--

Sorry. Changing languages not my strong point the day. I'm sorry you're not up to catching the bus to see awesome mad-science theatre. I hope you enjoy your basking, and the swans. (The sight of them, I mean, although I suppose if you do decide to catch one (for dinner or pet as you please) that you deserve the treat after your editing deathmarch.)

Gig this afternoon, here, and another later on tonight, I suppose. Neither a paying-me one, unfortunately--all of my partners for that have failed on me this year.

Nice photographs there, and thank you for the sharing of them.

Happy recovering, and I hope it's been a good day!
