I'm not much of a swimmer, but whenever I'm by the sea I like to take my shoes and socks off- and paddle.

I got my feet in the water, which was better than nothing. Beavertail is one of those beautiful spiky coastlines with wood-grain ledges of slate and latched seaweed: my ideal of a sea-coast.
