Be warned that the explanation of Gopak's current state contains surprise bonus colonialism and I stand by my original impression that it should have been a novella, but it is definitely worth your time. I should think the anthology should be easy to find; and if you run across Night-Pieces instead, let me know what the rest of his fiction is like!
