I'm fine with the entry as it is: yours are among the entries I get LJ notifications for, so I just go straight from e-mail to your entry, so I never see the cut even if you have it in.

I know some people do hate long walls of text in their friends list, though. Personally, the only thing I don't like is when someone includes an image that's so large that it causes a sideways scroll bar to appear on my friends list. When that happens, I usually filter the friends list so as not to see that person's entries until that particular entry has dropped off the bottom of my scroll. It only happens very rarely, though.
