I'm living for the day of reckoning

I am behind on posting. I always am. I have a pile of mostly book reviews, I haven't mentioned the Macbeth reading on Sunday (for which I was deputized at two in the morning the night before to read Lady Macbeth in Acts I and II), and I really need to devote time to Trevor Nunn's The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby (1982), the first four hours of which we watched tonight at Eric's; it is magnificent. Unfortunately for fans of culture, I'm going to self-aggrandize instead. Blame [livejournal.com profile] lesser_celery. He put up this year's additions to his resume; I must perpetuate the meme.

Will there be another book? They're amazing poetry, and I'd love them all in one place, to reread.

And that's just a fraction of why you're so damn awesome. ;-)

I very much appreciate your doing this! I wanted to remember precisely this--much easier to have you do it for me :-)

"What part of ὡς πολλοῖς ὄμμασιν εἰς σὲ βλέπω don't you understand!?"

Impressive! The Greek titles I admit I slide over - it's caviar to the οἱ πολλοί - but I second [livejournal.com profile] nineweaving's call for a slim vol!

THIS.

Thank you for the list and the links! I will be rereading. And congratulations on a fine year of publishing.

(I'm with [livejournal.com profile] nineweaving--another collection any time soon?)

I was going to ask the same question. She's certainly producing enough volume for another one.

At this rate you can soon have a volume of Greek-titled poems.

Meh, I am equally behind in posting, and have far less excuse.

I'm still hoping for a volume of Classical-themed work. Mostly so that I can buy my eccentric High School English teacher a copy, and decide afterwards whether this counts as marketing, peace offering, or practical joke.

PS: ὀσμὴ βροτείων αἱμάτων με προσγελᾷ ?

I realize this hasn't been the best year in other ways, but it seems to me excellently prolific. Go, you!

I've not said it apparently, but I'm procrastinating writing a cover letter so I'll say it the now.

Well done! And the titling in Greek does add a certain je ne sais quoi to the poems, as well as to your publications list.
